I'm a writer from London with an interest in

class, satire, and

social mobility.

I’ve received grants from the Royal Literary Fund, the Arts Council, the Society of Authors, and George Mason University for my novel-in-progress.

In 2021, I received my MFA in Fiction from UC San Diego with full funding from UCSD's Literature department and Friends of International Center. My thesis was a novel about the internet, language, and the London suburbs. My supervisors were Jac Jemc, Anna Joy Springer, Anya Gallaccio, and Lily Hoang. From 2019-2021, I was on the board of Alchemy, a journal of translation and worked with Kazim Ali for Nightboat Books' poetry award.
